Sandy Restaurant

Ive tried so many different dishes from this place and theyre consistent! Food is always good, never salty. Delivery is usually on time, even early sometimes. Delays do happen during busy nights (wknds), but its worth it.

I always love going to Sandy's restaurant since I moved to Harlem. After I relocated a little farther from my old neighborhood in Harlem to manhattan, I missed a lot about my move and one of the reasons was I would be far from Sandy's restaurant.

Well my order did not arrive on time...it came around 20 minutes after I placed my order #early.
If you're in the El Barrio/East Harlem area of NYC (Manhattan), Sandy's is a MUST STOP... and they deliver too

My food was great as always! I've been a customer for over 15 yrs but they wouldn't deliver to my home until now thanks GrubHub! Delivery was fast & on time!!!

The pork is unique, no-one else in these low-fat times would serve something this true to reality. I love it, but do get some veggies to balance it out a little.

I woke up this morning with a sore throat, and knowing the beneficial properties of pineapple, I originally started looking for a place that served fresh pineapple juice... I'm so happy that I found Sandy!

I ordered a side of fried green plantains, 1 lb. of pork, an avocado salad, and a large pineapple juice. Now, five minutes after placing my order, I received a call from "Papo," (who was very courteous, by the way) and he explained that the restaurant had run out of avocado... He then assured me a great salad with fresh red onions, lettuce, tomatoes, and fresh cilantro. Not only was the salad fresh, crisp, and delicious, the roasted pork was juicy, flavorful, and included just the right amount of chicharron. A-mazing. Even with my cold, all of the flavors got through.

The pineapple juice is $4.00 for a large, and it was a different level of ample, icy, fresh, and sweet -- basically all of the wonderful things I had hoped it would be. I think I'll be making a stop home from work soon to pick up some more.

Sandy gets 5 stars for food quality, customer service, and timely and friendly delivery (I didn't catch the delivery guys name, but he was very sweet); I can't wait to try the other stuff on their menu!

Got the pancakes with eggs and turkey sausage and everything tasted good. The best part was the soursop shake, it was pretty amazing. The delivery man was also very nice even though my address was listed correctly. Overall good food and good service.

Food is always flavorful and good. The only thing is that the morcilla was a too salty (almost inedible), but it is normally very good so I guess is was just an accident with over salting when they made this batch.

Food is always good. They also give you plenty of food. The delivery guy was also nice. I have ordered many meals for me and my family and will continue to do so .

maybe you guys got the wrong cook or something, but i know my food came hot, delicious and correct. loved it and will order all the time now,
